3D Generalist

We’re looking for a skilled 3D Generalist in our Marketing team to help bring Star Merge to life with stunning visuals. In this role, you’ll be hands-on across the entire 3D pipeline - from modeling and lighting to rendering, compositing, and simulations - crafting cinematic, high-quality content that makes our game and mobile ads shine.

Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble 3D scenes based on concepts and storyboards
- Set up lighting and composition for atmospheric, visually engaging shots
- Render and composite scenes in After Effects, matching approved overpaints
- Model high-quality 3D objects and characters
- Use AI tools to speed up and enhance 3D model creation
- Create basic object animations and collaborate with animators
- Run simulations (rigid body dynamics, fluids, particles)
- Optimize scenes for efficient, top-quality rendering
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a 3D Layout Artist, 3D Generalist, or 3D Motion Designer (gaming, mobile ads, or content production)
- Experience with animation and simulations (Blender, and tools like Embergen or Liquigen)
- Solid knowledge of Blender and Adobe After Effects
- Skills in 3D modeling & texturing (including Substance 3D Painter)
- Deep understanding of composition, lighting, and color
- Strong portfolio showcasing your work
- Proficient in spoken and written English (B1+ level)
Nice to have:
- Experience in the gamedev industry
- Experience with Unreal Engine or Unity for cinematic creation
- Extra skills in 2D motion, concept art, or CG art
- Mentorship experience
